ME shutdown problems

Hi,

I maintain some Windows ME computers in the office and at home. Sometimes I
find that when I try shutdown ME, it displays only a cursor on the upperleft
hand corner of a blank screen and the cursor stays there without being able
to shutdown.

Since this only happens sometimes, I did not bother to worry about it.

But I was just wondering is this a common shutdown problem found in all
Windows ME computers?

Thanks.

Peter

Win 98 and 98SE have severe shutdown problems. Search Microsoft's database.
I've never heard anything good about ME, so I'm sure it has it's share of
Win 98 problems. With Win 98, I can sometimes shut the computer down using
the keyboard and not touching the mouse. Many times, though, I have to
press the power button when the curser is blinking.

I've since upgraded to WinXP (Pro and Home) and I'll never go back.
