I downloaded a driver update 27.2.2004 which on checking
my system windows said it was one I required. In Device
Manager I now have a modem with a yellow exclamation mark
on, the properties say Drivers for this device are not
installed (code 28). On updating drivers it then says no
software present for this driver. I have tried on numerous
occasions to remove it from Device Manager, and although
it does go from that menu, the next time the PC is turned
on it tells me it has found a new driver for installation
and I go through the same round of events again. Can any
one please tell me what to do to get rid of this
downloaded driver which I don't appear to have software
for, or any help at all PLEASE. Very much a novice so any
advice in simple terms will be appreciated.
