ME and NTFS partitions

Hi,

I have a system that uses Windows ME. If I mount another hard disk that was
formatted as NTFS, will my OS still be able to read the contents of the
other hard disk?

I am pretty sure that it wont. NTFS has only been available for
Windows NT/ 2000 and XP

Windows 95/Me/98 use FAT16/32


You can get 3rd party software that allows you to read the NTFS disk
from a DOS prompt, and then copy files from it to another disk.

Not entirely correct. YOu can use a third party application such as the
one from www.sysinternals.com:

The free version allows you to read NTFS partitions from Win9x. The
paid for one allows you to write to NTFS partitions too.
