DJ Bjorklund

Hello all. I'm new.

Well, I guess the kids at Redmond have gotten down to the Windows
Feedback Panelists, as I've been asked to participate in the upcoming
(starting in June) review of whatever Beta of Vista that they'll be
sending out for same.

While I'm not exactly a power user, I do know my way around Windows
PCs a bit having three desktops running a combo of XP Home and Pro on
a wireless network, etc. I tend to be a good boy maintaining my
boxes, running utilities and keeping AV updates,...well,... updated,
etc. My mother-ship is a Dell P4 8300 with 1.5 GIG of memory, ATI
Radeon 9550.

As for critical apps and utilities I run Spysweeper, McAfee AV(look
out?), GoTo My PC, Quicken 2004, Adobe PS Elements. Any other
information you need to help me with this big "should I or shouldn't
I" question, ask away,...if you want to participate that is ;-)

Welcome :o)

I guess because I signed up to be a "Windows Feedback Panelist" member
at some point.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but my assumption is that most persons
posting here and the other MS Vista Usenet groups are also beta
testers(?)

Anyway, I'll try anything once, so I signed up. Looks like I'll get a
free seat of the final product once released too. I like saving,
what, probably $100-$200?

You're wrong, this is a public newsgroup and anyone can read/post here.
Beta testers are given information about private newsgroups which
require a user name and password to access.

Please remember this and be a bit careful of posting anything that
might be against the non-disclosure agreement you signed or will sign.

I am going to be Very Angry at Microsoft if us MSDN Tester's Don't get a New
Build on Monday, May 22nd, 2006 (Which is When Beta 2 is Supposed to Come
Out, at least According to PT from http://www.winsupersite.com), just FYI.

If you attend WinHEC, then you may be able to get Beta 2 on that date. If
your not attending, then you will have to wait like the rest of us.

Applied but still waiting to be accepted for the Vista Beta Testing group.
Can't wait to be able to play and help make it even better.

Good advise and information. Got a little wound up I guess
I guess I do look forward to my participation in the testing.
Thanks David

Can you please STOP using the FYI thing - there's no need for it. We know
you're giving information (or what you think is information and not mindless
banter), so just stop using it!

You're gonna lose your ISP if you don't stop your childish whining.

Comcast would Never do that to us, we pay them over $200 U.S.A. Dollar's a
Month for our Digital Cable with HDTV Service, our High Speed Internet, and
our Digital Phone Service, plus we Always Pay On Time, just FYI.

P.S. In Other Words: They have way too much to Lose by cutting us off the
Internet.

Doubt it seeing as it's you. Surely a multi-national corporation like
Comcast can lose one single customer and not lose sleep over it.

Remember, Our U.S.A. Laws Have a Spam Opt-Out Policy and Not the Other Way
Around Like You Guys Have in the EU, Also Just FYI.

So if you don't like my Spam (I prefer to call it Complaint's to Microsoft,
However), you can Opt-Out by Blocking me as a Sender.

Blocked sender - and I thought it only worked for email's - God bless
blocking newsgroup users.
