Unfortunately my original mdb file got corrupted. Is it
possible to convert back my mde file to mdb?

Sorry, no as the Text component of the code has been removed from the MDE
format.

You should be able to recover the Tables and Queries (I think???) from
the MDE.

I don't use MDE too often but when I do, I keep about 3 copies of the source
MDB.

And macros. Although I've never tried it.

I had this happen once. I created a new blank database
and imported everything from the mde and it worked fine
for me.

You mustn't have had any VBA code in the mde, then, since that's
irretrievable.
