MCAFEE SECURITY CNTR UPDATE WON'T GO AWAY

I uninstalled McAfee [ horrible cust.serv and support] and now find that i
cannot uninstall "McAfee Sec.Center update -
.c:\Docu..............\LocalSettings\Temp\200510813429_mcinfo.exe

which tries to send every 20 seconds ???? Plus uses 384 KB.

HOW do i get rid of these arrogant idiots ????
Won't let me delete the file. in fact i can't even see it looking for
it through MY COMPUTER. ( hidden files - Displayed )
found it using Search Files.
PLEASE HELP

THANKS for the links. I had searched McAfee earlier and
not found what i was looking for- but so you know- two issues. 1. I had
already deleted the Security Center- so there was nothing for the virtual
tech to find on my system.
except for the update file. no "program" , no 'problem" for
them.......
I hate McAfee. this is the third time over the years that i've used
their stuff. and i come away every time disgusted.

2. I eventually found a comment on the DELL website from a guy who
booted in SAFE MODE and found it there and managed to delete it. I'd
considered that , and once i saw it was successful, i did the same.
