I was having trouble with Windows 9.0 every time i turned
computer on i would recieve C:\windows\iedll.exe corrupt
need to be reinstalled as well as a loader exe message,
finally after speaking to 7 aol techs each with a
different solution, i finally had to restore computer to
original factory condition, reloaded all soft ware
including 9.0 (AOL) this got rid of the errors and
everything runs well, except when i try to download Mcafee
online virus scan it would not respond, the tech at aol
said this was because i did a windows update to include
ME6.0 browser update, and this was not compatible with on
line virus scan and that i needed to get rid of the
updates, another tech told me i needed to update browser
at keyword browser, when i try i get temp. unable to
update windows me computer try again later, every thing
works fine except mcafee on line virus scan which i pay
extra for, was updating a bad idea or is aol passing the
buck.please e mail with any info regarding this issue
thanks rk.
