McAfee not working

I am running ME and have an online subscription to McAfee and the last week
or so when I get downloads from McAfee it say follow the instructions in the
pop up box. I used to get the popup box but now I get no pop up. It says to
diable any pop up blockers and I do have pop up killer and I do disable it
but no box.
Any help?

If the popup killer loads on startup, disable it by using
msconfig so it won't load at all,
and restart the computer. It might still have
processes running even though you've shut it off...
i.e. it's not showing in the tray anymore.

It suddenly worked last night, 17 oct, and I don't know if anything that I
did caused it. I was still running pop up killer.
