Mcafee Internet Security 2004 Activation?

Hi

After hearing how Norton has "activation" required for their products now,
does Mcafee do this as well? I am considering buying and am just wondering.

Not to my knowledge however I do not use McAfee software (except
McAfee Enterprise at work).
 
No it doesnt though you have to register, It uses the same updating as Vs8
and I have reloaded that several times due to upgrades etc of harddrives and
OSs
