McAfee download

Hi

I just downloaded from the McAfee store (UK) the installer for Internet
Security Suite 7, called MIS_7_0_ENGB.EXE. Existing McAfee software advises
not to run it, since it has no signature. Is there something strange here?

Did you go directly to the McAfee site by typing in the URL in your
browser or did you click a link in an e-mail or a popup? If the latter
then you are probably already doomed if you gave them your credit card
info.

I was responding to a spam from McAfee telling me my trial license was about
to run out (it is) but I didn't follow the link in the spam. Instead I went
via Google to the McAfee site, and the transaction was handled by a company
called digitalriver, who sent an order acknowledgement from
(e-mail address removed)
