McAfee anti virus problem?

The past few days I've been allowing McAfee to do its update thing but I
don't think it's working correctly. The lower left corner of a blank
browser window shows a yellow triangle icon that says DONE. When I
double-click that icon, a message window appears and certain errors are
discussed within that I know nothing about.

If I then manually tell McAfee to check for updates, it checks, then comes
back with a button to press for UPDATE -- implying that it needs doing. I
then click that UPDATE button but get the same blank feedback that I talk
about in above paragraph.

Should I disable McAfee anti-virus and go for AVG?

I don't comprehend.

I too had problems with McAfee's anti-virus and firewall program. Not find
technical support helpful, I switch to a company that has a user friendly
anti-virus/firewall program and technical support staff. No longer having
any problems. McAfee lost another valued customer as far as I am concern.

program.
