windows update and then try to restart my computer..It will not start
properly and goes blue screen and then into startup repair and then I have
to use system restore to be able to start...when I disable my Mcafee Virus I
can update my files with no problem..has anyone else run into this..Thank

Uninstall Mccrappy and install Avast (free). All your problems will go
away.

Get rid of Mcafee and install something like Avast,Nod32 and etc. Both Macafee and
Norton are not very friendly to ,most Windows OS's

I haven't had that problem but....I used to use McAfee on my home
computers because I could get it free through my employer. When I got
a Vista laptop, I put it on that machine. The install went fine, but
then Vista told me that there was no AV installed. I never figured out
why McAfee wouldn't work with Vista, I ended up going with NOD32.

So in my limited experience, there is some kind of problem between
McAfee and Vista.
