MBR Rewrite

If I wanted to rewrite MBR and I had upgraded the computer
from 98SE to XP, which method would I use, FixMBR or
fdisk /mbr??
Actually, additional question: which boot loader would my
system use?

Alex, you have to use the Recovery Console and the Fix MBR command. Also,
WinXP uses the five files for Bootloader. ntldr, cmldr, boot.ini,
bootsect.dos and ntdetect.com Take a look here
