Maze freezes my computer.

Hi, I bought the game two days ago, and it works nearly perfectly. It loaded
quickly and easily, nothing wrong, and then I played through the town of
oakvail (however it's spelled) and Maze teleports me to the Hero's Guild. The
game saves, and it does the movies of me being taken to the room, and of
wisper waking me up. I am able to play through the Guild, do anything there,
but if I go up the stairs to Maze's room, the movie of him talking to the
skeleton guy comes on. The movie plays fine, but after it is over, the screen
begins to fade back in, and then it freezes. The music continues to play for
roughly 30 seconds, then it quits as well. My computer completely freezes,
and I have to turn it off, and turn it back on. Once I get back to the game,
I have to start back at when my character is outside the guild and throwing
up. All the movies play fine, except for the ones at the guild with Maze in
them. The same thing happens when I have reached adult-hood and guildmaster
send me to fight in the forest. I go there, and it does another movie with
Maze in it. After the movie, when it begins to fade back into the playing
screen, the computer freezes, and the music stops several seconds later. I
have already tried un-installing the game, then re-installing it. It persists
in this manner.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Do you need more info on my problem?

I'm sorry, I forgot to mention the name of the game. The game that I am
having difficulties is "Fable: The Lost Chapters". Please, help me if you
know what is wrong.

Have you tried updating your video drivers, or may be sound card and chipset
ones? They can typically be downloaded from the manufacturer of your
graphics card, for example ATI or nVidia or from the manufacturer of the
computer (usually if it's a laptop).
