I've found a page containing a brief description of (for me strange)
programs/processes/services showed by task manager:
e.g. I had a MsPMSPSv.exe running; the properties said it was a
Microsoft program, but could I delete it ?

In http://www.answersthatwork.com/Tasklist_pages/tasklist.htm they say
yes (http://www.answersthatwork.com/Tasklist_pages/tasklist_m.htm)

(hoping it's true, I've disabled this service and earned 1.2 M of ram
:-)

Really O.T. here, but you might want to check this page:

http://www.blackviper.com/WinXP/strangeservice.htm

and do a search for MsPMSPSv.exe.

Ooops, excuse me, you're right....

I started trying several freeware task manager (iProcessViewer,
Starter,...), then other freeware control programs (DriverManager,
SystemSafetyMonitor [very complete, for person affected by paranoia!
like me...])...
but to understand the results I needed links like that I reported...but
only in my mind it was a freeware-started thread :-)

Thanks!
