Maxtor Powermax 4.09 sata drive

ok, powermax 4.09 will not recognize sata drives using KT600 chipsets.
Maxtor will not issue a RMA without a Powermax failure code.

Note: PowerMax v 4.09 will not detect ATA or SATA hard disks connected
to embedded or add in RAID controllers, NVIDIA Force 3, Force 4, VIA
KT 600 and KT800 chipsets. If the hard disk is connected to an
unsupported controller, it will have to be moved to an alternate
system, or controller for diagnosis.

So how can i test my sata drive?????? I have no other sata capable
system.

Contact Maxtor support and ask them how they intend to comply
with their legal obligations in your case.
