In the last (?) Maxthon update, they had a noinstall version, I don't see it now.

As in another post, I decided to stay with MyIE 2.

I tried it as well and it won't download a file when clicking on the link ,
new page opens and that is it I'll stay with myie2 I think till the bugs
are sorted out.

Have you checked the download-option? Maybe you have some download
manager configured there by mistake?

My Maxthon works like a charm. And the improved pop-up blocker is very
efficient.

No download manager, it just won't download but my ie2 will and ie as well
the same files ?????
