Maxthon download manager

how come I have to select do not use a download manager to be able to
download anything, I have fresh download as the download manager and works
fine in IE which I have to use when I want to download anything as I need
the resume feature, this has been the case from the last couple of updates
to Myie2 and now Maxthon , am I missing something here or what, I have just
installed service pack2 but this was a problem before that .
when I click on a download link no matter what page , it will load the next
page with the messsagge Page not available or words to that effect????
any ideas???? there has been no replys in the forum on this!!

Fresh Download works fine here, originally under MyIe2 and latterly under
Maxthon.

Click a download link and FD pops up, whether it was already open or not.

I'd check your Maxthon, and FD settings. Especially make sure that the
BHO FDCatch.dll hasn't been disabled.

I have checked all settings and nothing is set wrong that I can see I
have tried other download managers with Maxthon and all will work with IE
but not with Maxthon !!!!!!
it has me stuffed.

Hey of, have you tried Free Download Manager? It works fine for most people
using SP2. The latest version (1.1) is feature packed.

Look on the Maxthon forums for threads about FDM.

FDM is truly feature-packed, will always be free, and is in active
development. It can be found here: http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/

Thanks bob but, I have tried that and it still is no go tried all in the
list of supported download managers, I will give up on it , as a lost
cause I reckon, can't see why they all will work in IE and not in maxthon
to me that seems to be a bug in Maxthon that they can't find or fix

Don't blame ya. Stick with what works.

Having said that, I have tried several D/L accelerators (Maxthon supports 18
different DL accelerator's) and they all worked OK.
