Maximum size of >wmv files for Powerpoint

I have a BP working on a Powerpoint show, and need to create some .wmv from
quicktime movies. What is the "Maximum" size file that will play in the
show, and how should it be linked. Thanks
 
I have got away with 200Mb before, it is easiest to use the insert movies and
sounds option from the menu. I don't think there is a limit in powerpoint,
your PC will be the issue.
