maximum size limit for user - defined in active directory

Hi,
i have facing a problem. please help me to rectify this

problem:

we have created one organistional unit name subscription
we create new objects in this ou. we are adding many attributes to it. it th
rows following error when it exceeds the some limit.

"[LDAP: error code 11 - 00002024: SvcErr: DSID-02050AA0, problem 5008 (ADMIN
_LIMIT_EXCEEDED), data -1026
]; remaining name 'cn=CN\=JPRAKASH\,CN\=Computers\,DC\=jupiter\,DC\=lan,ou=S
ubscriptions,dc=jupiter,dc=lan'"

q: 1. what is the maximum size of user - defined opbject
2. is there any property to set it.
3. i have found the "maxStorage" property , is it helpful for this?

I think you later posted to activedir org didn't you? ~Eric was responding, it
sounds like you came up on the limit of the number of non-LV attributes per user
which is about ~850 for 2K and about ~1300 for K3 depending on what the values
are that can vary.

Hi Joe,
Thanks for the immediate reply.

I will explain the steps which I did in ADSI Edit.

1. I created one user-defined ou , and added an object in that container.
2. I opened ADSI edit , and added attributes for that object. Suppose i have 3 attributes,say i have added 300 values for each attributes.(say 900 attributes)
3. If i add more than this values, which exceeds above limit

I received following error message ----- "The Administrative limit for this request was exceeded" -----

Iam using win2k server and service pack 4

Ok this is confusing. Are you saying you are adding many values to a multivalued
attribute or many objects to an OU.
