Ever heard of Google?! As 98/ME could address 1GB+ with the relevant
modifications, why on earth would XP support less?!

Suggest you Google for the answer.

The limit on XP/Home is 2, possibly 3GB. The motherboard
in your PC may be maxed out before you get to 2GB.

4Gb is the max (per something I read at MS). Like the other poster
said your motherboard (and wallet) will limit what you can do.

Incorrect (another who needs to do his homework before posting). The maximum
is 4GB - or the maximum your motherboard can handle.

You need to read the question mate! He ask about max RAM, not network
connections.

In any event, both versions of XP can handle up to 4gigs of RAM, and then
what ones motherboard will support. The 512 he came up with is related to
the 98/ME versions, and ME will handle more than that.

Uh, 5 for HE and 10 for PRO is the answer to a different question.

The max.RAM supported on XP, HE or PRO, is 4GB. But many MBs
have lower limits; such as 2GB or 1.5GB or, sometimes, way less.

You have been reported to your manager at Unitor regarding the usage of
work time to browse newsgroups.
