Is there a technical or even practical limit to the number of pages a
document can be?

Should I be breaking up a document into different files after it gets to be
about 100 pages?

Hi Diggy,

Maybe somewhere around a thousand, unless it is loaded with graphics and
complex tables. Regardless, you should make sure that you make regular
backups

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the

directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.

Hope this helps

Some users have reported creating documents upwards of 10,000 pages without
problems (though they were probably text only). The key is to use styles,
not direct formatting, which imposes a heavier load.
