Maximum Number of Tables in Union - Jet

Not sure I've ever seen it documented in those terms, but I do know there's
a limit of 32 tables in a query, so if each subquery involved 4 tables, you
wouldn't be able to include more than 8 subqueries.

Not sure, though, if you can have 32 subqueries each of one table.

Thanks, Doug.

Hi,
I haven't found it either but I do run one on a regular
basis that has 11 UNION ALL. I hope this helps.

Chalk it up to prurient interest, but would you be willing to describe WHAT
you are doing that needs a large number of UNIONs? You've alluded to HOW
you might do something, but there may be other approaches...

Lots of Unions? Maybe the person is working for the Democratic
National Committee...

Thanks for noticing, Doug. I'm not sure anyone ever accused ME of being too
polite... <g>
