is there a maximum number of rows that can be copied to clipboard from a
table?
e.g if i had a table and selected all the records clicked on copy.... in
order to take the data else where....
i know there are better ways of doing this with queries etc, but i have a
user that wont take no for an answer...
using access 2002 on XP Pro.
is it limited by access or by xp or by hardware (or none of the above!) any
help or if some one can point me to some reference documentataion some
where... i tried looking but cant come back with a definitve result!! - Cheers

I suspect this is more of a Windows question, most likely to do with
clipboard capacity. Have you exlored that?

Yes, there is a limit; a warning message pops up if you try to copy to
many records.
