I thought I were clear.
Outbound connections, * outbound * * outbound * * outbound * not inbound.
I cannot make more than two - 2 - *outbound* VPN PPTP connections !
In other words, the XP Pro workstations creates no more than 2 VPN client connections to a remote server, but we need to connect to 5 remote servers from the same XP workstation....
Someone can tell if this is a hard coded limitation of Win2K/XP
(workstations) ?
Is there a setting somehow to increase the number of outgoing VPN
connections ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thuis is by design and I don't think you can make more than 1 connection. quoted from
http://www.ChicagoTech.net
How many inbound dial-in connections are supported
W2K server supports 256 inbound dial-in connections while w2k pro supports 1.

Hi,
Our project requires at least 5 outgoing VPN PPTP client connections at the
same time on Win2K/XP; but I cannot start more than 2.
Someone can tell if this is a hard coded limitation of Win2K/XP
(workstations) ?
Is there a setting somehow to increase the number of outgoing VPN
connections ?
Thanks
Yvan.
