| They don't all take the same type of RAM. Yours has 2 slots which can
take
| 256MB of PC133 SDRAM each. So you have the maximum already:

Thanks for this. I was hoping to double up to 1GB as 512MB is much too
low
for a couple of my applications. Fortunately I have a desktop with 2GB
memory so its not such a problem. However I am curious as to why a
single
Vaio module is limited to 256MB?
