Maximum length of TextBox.Text?

I'm curious if anyone else out there has any solid numbers regarding
how much text a multiline TextBox will display under PPC2K2. I've
been testing it with a 103,200 byte file, and it seems to conk out at
approximately 65K. Oddly enough, the exact number of characters
displayed seems to vary each time. The TextBox.Text string appears to
hold the entire contents properly, but only the first ~65K is being
displayed. MaxLength has no effect on this, since I'm not actually
typing in the characters, although it does limit me from actually
typing anything once I've loaded the file.

Anyone out there done any experimenting with this or have any
comments?

"The default limit to the amount of text a user can enter
in an edit control is 30,000 characters.".
You can try to send EM_LIMITTEXT message to expand the
text buffer:

I think a Rich Textbox can handle more text than an edit control. It's
worth a try.
