Maximum disk size for dynamic disks

Using 2 x 320gb sata drives on win2000 server, with dynamic disks and a
mirroered set.

Disk manager shows the disks as ONLY 128gb

Is this a limitation of dynamic disks?

Currently have all 20gb FAT32 patitions. (up to drive Q)
and wish to increase all partitions to 32gb max limit.

Have broken mirror, removed a 120gb drive and added a 320 gb drive.
Rebuilt mirror. Now intend to break mirror, remove other 120 gb and then
use a partitioning program to ''stretch'' partitions, install 2nd 320gb
and rebuild mirror again as don't want to remove ALL that data as a back up!

However, how do I get Disk Manager to show the full drive.

Many thanks,

England

any help?

Thanks,
spent ages searching knowledge base, obviously with wrong criteria.

Just giving up here tonight (7pm UK), so will try this in the morning and
reply - looks like the answer though as all updates current.

MANY thanks,

Steve,
FYI they dropped the 'Qxxxxxx' article ID naming convention long ago. You
might want to consider updating your links since this method is no longer
supported and doesn't always work.

You are a gem!

Even with latest SP4 and the rest, this has solved the problem!

Maybe you might als oknow the answer to my ''other'' problem post?

I prefer the ''detailes'' view in windows 2000 explorer classic view.

Easy to set on each folder, but tedious as the ''like this folder'' option
does not work for this setting.

However, every so often ALL folders get reset to ''icon'' view, which is
a pain.

I can not find WHERE this information is stored - definitely can't find
a desktop.ini or similar file with all the data - 15 drive letters here.

Maybe, when I do a clean up, I'm deleting something i shouldn't.

Please, anyone know where this information is stored - and - how to
apply to all folders in one go
