maximum amount of names that can be added to distribution lists

Does anyone know what the maximum amount of names that can be added to a
personnal distribution list.
 
Really? Can you tell me where this is set? I have a VP who has tried to
build DLs with 500-600 names. I made him break it down into multiple lists.

How could I tell you where it is set? You would have to ask the provider of
your mail server.

I'm sorry, I got the impression you knew where to set this on the Exchange
Server.
My bad.
