For years, I've been happy using PowerPoint 97 for photos
taken with a 1 MP digital camera. I just bought a 5 MP
camera. Now, when I insert a photo onto a PP slide, I
have to reduce it to a fraction of its size to fit on the
slide regardless of my monitor's resolution.
How can I get the most out of my now much higher photo
resolution using PP 97? (i.e. What's the point of having a
5 MP camera if you have to reduce the resolution
drastically for computer viewing?)
Should I resize using a graphics program first to the
limit possible on PP slides or should I just resize in
PP?
Do the more recent versions of PowerPoint provide for
higher resolution photos?
Should I resize the images to my monitor's highest
resolution setting (1280 x960) so that when launched in
full screen mode, I get the best quality possible?
(however, doing this, the photo is still much larger than
the slide provided in PP)
Thanks for any help,
