I've been told that Hyperthreading causes Win 2000 to
appear as if it has 2 processors running in the task
manager when in fact it has one physical processor.
There are 2 cpu usage time history graphs on display in
the task manager. One process is at 100% whereas the
second is near 0% resuling in a net usage of 50%.
Is there a way to devote near 100% of cpu usage to one
process?
