Maximize folders/programs by default

How do I make all folders and/or programs open in a
maximized window by default? I seem to get random
results, with windows sometimes opening maximized, and
sometimes "restored" to a less-than-maximized setting. I
would just like to be able to force all windows and
programs opening in a new window to always open maximized.

Thanks,

Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View -> "Remember each
folders view settings"

Might want to investiagte this option. I believe if you
close a folder while minimized, this will 'remember' and
open it minimized the next time...

I use AutoSizer ( Free )

AutoSizer automatically resizes any window you specify.
For instance, some web browsers open up in a non-maximized window.
Using AutoSizer, you can set those windows to automatically
maximize every time they are opened. It works with almost any program,
including web browsers, Notepad, etc.
AutoSizer stays running in the system tray (next to the time)
so it stays out of your way while it works.
