Maximise IE6 no longer working

Hi all - when I click the maximise button, the window used to open up fully.
Now the top of the window is about 1/4 down the screen, and the bottom bar
is not displaying. Horizontally it is aligned to the proper left and right
edges of the screen.

I have the latest updates etc. (6.0.2800.1106).

I tried changeing the monitor resolution to see if this would impact it but
the same problem is occurring.

If you're using XP, Kelly has a fix at line 60
"correct IE window placement"

I fixed it by opening a browser session, then right-clicked on a URL an hit
"Open in New Window", then closed the first browser session, then closed the
second browser session by hitting CTRL and the X button on the window.

For some strange reason that worked!
