The Unicode pst works great with larger files - what problem do you have
with it... and is it the new Unicode format? The old format will not support
larger than 2 GB.

hi Diane

as I'm new with MS Outlook so with pst file, as a precaution, i would like
to know the max size of the pst file can support, as we used to have 5 to 6
GB of archive email at Netscape communicator

thanks

it goes up to like 3 TB but is limited to 20GB by a reg key... its really
the practical limit for they typical user anyway as few will have 3 TB free.
:)

2g limit only apply to office 2002 or lower

but big pst slows down your pc very much

try, it is horribly slow

mine's over 4 GB - I don't notice a problem with it except when outlook
doesn't close properly and needs to check the file.
