Hi all;

Is there any "work around" for the maximum limit of
physical memory in Windows 2000.
I have 4GB or RAM now but with all the ASP web hits we
have the seesions are long and I need more physical RAM.
I have changed the pagefile sizes but really need the
capability of more adding more RAM. Thanks.

Nope. Here are your choices:

Win2K Pro - 4GB (max 2GB app space)
Win2K Server - 4GB (max 2GB app space)
Win2K Advanced Server - 8GB (max 3GB app space)
Win2K Datacenter - 32GB (max 3GB app space)

WinXP Pro - 4GB (max 3GB app space)

Win Server 2003 - 4GB (max 3GB app space)
Win Server 2003 Enterprise - 32GB (max 3GB app space)
Win Server 2003 Datacenter - 64GB (max 3GB app space)

If you're running Win2K Pro or Server, upgrading to XP or
Win2003 would give you an extra 1GB of application memory.
If you're already running Win2K Advanced Server or Datacenter
see the link referenced above.
