Max # of contacts

Is there any way to store more than 1000 contacts in Outlook?

I couldn't find any settings within the application to change this.
 
Your question makes no sense. There is no such limit. I'd love to know what
makes you think there is.
 
Outlook live? No, not really. Only 1000 can be stored online. You could make
a second pst and store more contacts in it, but it won't sync online.
