I am having 200GB capacity seagate hard disk. I want to
install win2000 prof. on this hard disk. When i try to
load the win2000 setup, it is displaying the hard disk
capacity as 131069MB. If i boot from win98 bootable disk
it says 200GB and also with seagate Disk manager.

Is there any limitation in hard disk capacity? If so, how
can i do the partition without any book disk or DM?

I just created a partition for only 10GB (c drive) to
install OS. I thought, after installing the OS it will
display the correct hard disk capacity in computer
management. But i displayed only 119GB remaining.

For your reference, my systems configuration is:

Hard disk - 200GB
Processor - Pentium 4
Speed - 3 GHz
Memory - 1024 MB
Intel desktop mother board - D865GBF

You need to be at SP3 at least.
Copy the following lines and paste them into Notepad.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\atapi\Parameters]
"EnableBigLba"=dword:00000001

Save the file on your desktop as "Biglba.reg".
Make sure the filename is "Biglba.reg" and not "Biglba.reg.txt".

Doubleclick Biglba.reg and click "Yes" at the prompt.

There 'ya go!
