Hi there,
Is there a setting in IE6 regarding path to open a file from a server
share? I am trying to open flash/shockwave file from a shared drive,
path is even under 128 characters and flash .swf file does not play.
It only plays if I make the path really short. It seems to play in
Firefox, even with a long path. Thanks a lot, Calin

Hi Hans,
Yes, about 10 spaces in the path

Did you put the path in quotes? Like
F:\Storage Area\New File.swf"
If it's not in quotes Windows treats as ending with the first space
character.

Hi there,
It is not in quotes, it looks like \\server\shared folder\...\shock
wave file.swf when I browse in windows explorer, remember it is
through windows explorer I get to it, next when I hit enter it brings
up the internet explorer. If I enclose it in quotes in IE goes to msn
search site not found.
Shockwave file is just a shared file of a server share but ultimatelly
it brings up IE and shockwave plugin.
Thanks a lot, Calin
