I'm designing a form and have many to controls still to place on it but I
cannot add any more. I cannot drag the Detail section any further down. I
went to the Detail properties ans assumed from the information there that the
max size is about 55cm. It won't allow me to type in a larger size. Since I
have many more check boxes. drop down lists and memo boxes to add - is ther
any way I can make the detail section larger or is ther another alternative,
please. Would be extremely grateful for any advice. Many thanks, S

You've hit the maximum length of the form. The form has form header and
footer sections and page header and footer sections where controls can be
added. However, these sections are not scrollable, so may not improve on the
screen real estate available.

Consider redesigning the layout of your form. Can some parts be set aside
as separate sections, such as within a subform? Subforms are scrollable,
too. Subforms placed on top of pages of a tab control might better organize
the layout. Or perhaps a "pop-up" form to display certain "related
information" whenever the user wants to see more detailed information about
an item in a control on the form.
