well i got it installed and running, except i carn't get the software 'LCDC' to recognize the display. I got the drivers installed and my computer recognizes it and the display lights up.... but i cant do anything without the software. I have posted a this question up on the LCDC forums, cept hardly anyone there.

and before you ask, here are the specs :D

mobo- A8N32-SLI Deluxe
Proc- FX-57
HDD- Western Digital 2500
GFX- 7900GT
PSU- 550W athena power

lcd display- Matrix Orbital MX 610

all i want to do is get it up and running so i can monitor my temps.
and the LCDC software is registered in my name already

Ah yes, the one you won :D

Are you using WinXP or Vista to use the software, also does it connect via USB? I've had problems using LCD serial devices before, but I'm guessing this is a bit newer :)

yep, that be it
im using XP and it and internal LCD but requires a USB port to be powered. I comes on and my computer recognizes it, but Its useless unless LCDC can see it. when scanning for it, its say that COM1 is occupied, and COM5 (which the LCD is in) there is an unknown device.

I have no clue on how to proceed

Updating LCDC
checked out OC.co.au, they had a review of one and updating it seemed to work
heres hoping
