I have an easy (hopefully) question and I cannot seem to get the formula right. My answer needs to be a dollar figure, not a percentage.
for example: 15% of $400,000.00 + $30,000.00 is "blank". ( not added to or subtracted from the total - just what is the 10%, 6% 15%, etc...) I thought the formula would be =SUM(C7:C8)*1.15 but that does not give me the number I need - $64,500.00 - it ADDS the $64,500.00 to the $430,000.00.
Please send help soon! I have a whole worksheet of variations of this same formula and do not find the answer in Help section).
Thank You!
