Match CD to Machine

I have two machines with XP home installed. I have two XP cd's. I would
like to re-install XP to one of my machines as a clean install - but I don't
remember which CD I used for which machine. I would like to avoid the
scenario of going through the whole installation process and finding out
that I have used the wrong CD at activation time ( when it would presumably
refuse to activate)

Is there a way to determine which copy of XP is installed on which machine?

Thanks In Advance

If your XP computer is still operational, you can try the following:

Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder

Ricky;
Assuming both Windows XP home are both the Full version or both the
upgrade version or both OEM for same model of computer, it does not
matter.
What does matter is the Product Key.
If that is what you need, follow this:
http://www.webtree.ca/windowsxp/repair_xp.htm
Near the bottom "View Product Key XP"

If these are both the same installation type of XP Home (i.e.: OEM). Which
CD does not matter. You just need to have the correct product key. If these
are OEM installs, look on the case for the Windows XP sticker (note: it
better be there :) ). That will have the installation key. Usually on a
laptop its on the bottom of the laptop.
