Can seem a dumb qustion, but what means that icon (like a chain) that appears
"linking" the title master to the slide master? Couldn't see the reason,
because this icon don't creat a slide-master-dependent relationship at first
sight (?).
Someone can help me?

Which version of PowerPoint do you use?

Until 2003 Master slides usually come in pairs: A title master is always
linked to a slide master, it cannot exist on its own. (Though a slide master
can exist without a title master.)

Best regards,
Ute

I use the Powerpoint 2003. Is this - the title master is linked to the slide
master. I couldn't see which is the relationship between them, in pratice, or
the mean of the "link icon". Can show me a exemple of this?
Thanks, Wallace.

Create a new template with slide master and title master. Format the title
placeholder of the slide master in another font and size. See what it does
to the title master to see how they are connected.

Best regards,
