We recently installed another hard drive on a computer to
be the slave. The original hard drive was the master but
has run out of space. How do I make the necessary changes
to convert the second drive into the new master? Thanks,

Daniel

If they're jumpered for Cable Select, you switch connectors.

If they're not, you change the master/slave jumpers.

But is that really the question you want to ask?

Did your new drive include an installation CD? Besides partitioning
and low level formatting, they might have included a disk image
copy feature. Also check the drive manufacturers site for additional
drive utilities. Also check the site of your original drive
maufacturer, as usually their software will allow you to transfer
to/from their drives and another manufacturers. If you are still
having a problem, then maybe you could say which drives and sizes
you have.
