How do I change the MBR to reflect only one OS login. I
had a botched install on a second hardrive of XP and now
I'm getting a prompt for "Which OS would you like to use"
when in actuality only the second OS option works. I'd
like to erase the first option so upon boot the computer
goes directly into the correct OS without a prompt.

This isn't really related to the MBR, so you don't need to change that.

My Computer | Properties | Advanced | Startup and Recovery | Settings

Select the default OS you want and untick the "Time to display list of
operating systems" box.

The MBR has NOTHING to do with what you are trying to
accomplish!
