The master boot record of the first Drive on my second
hard drive has become active . I don't know how or why,
but I can't get it inactive.

With Windows 98, I could use fdisk to make it inactive .
but I cannot find and Fdisk that will work with Windows
XP Pro. Any help would be greatly appreciated . thank
you very much Robert Hodgson:

change your bios to boot to the window xp install cd. Let
it start, choose Repair it will take you to the command
console. It will ask you for the admin password. If you
did not setup one, just hit enter, that will take you to
the c:\windows directory. You can run commands there to
disable the MBR on the second disk.
