Is there a chance to link manual created textboxes to the master? I
think only the AutoLayout objects can be formatted by the master? Even
if I copy the textbox of an AutoLayout I can't format the box by the
master.

I'm looking for a way to have 3 or more textboxes on one site -
changing the typestyle by the master. Do you have a solution?

Thanks a lot,
Emil

you can't have more than one text placeholder on your master. And you can't
have an AutoLayout with more than two text placeholders (you can't create
your own AutoLayout with three text placeholders).

But you CAN set a standard format for a text box: Format your text as you
wish it to appear: font, size, color, etc. using "Format - Font" and then
click the "Standard"-button in this dialog box.

And you CAN create a standard slide with three text boxes of the size and
format you want and save this with your pot-file. If you now need a slide
with three text boxes, copy this standard slide instead of applying an
AutoFormat.

Kind regards,
Ute

Hallo Ute,

danke für die Antwort. Die workarounds stellen durchaus gute Ansätze
dar.

Trotzdem danke,
Emil

I'm glad I could show you a possible way - though formatting options are not
as comfortable as in Word (BTW: some formats don't make sense on PowerPoint
slides ...).

If it's easier for you to post your questions in German: You're also welcome
to the German speaking PowerPoint Newsgroup:
microsoft.public.de.german.powerpoint

Kind regards / Viele Gruesse
Ute
