Hello,
why is the MS AntiSpyware not part of the Security
Center ? I think for future versions it should become a
member of that framework, shouldn't it ?

greetings from germany

I agree ! Certainly because of the fact that MSAS
constantly checks your moves on the internet and the
XPregister with the 59 "agents" and reports any dangers
and changes in the register.! Jan van den Eeden - The

I disagree.

First of all, antispyware is not an integral part of the
OS and putting it there will cause people to think it is
and that MS antispyware is the only solution available
(hitmanpro, anyone?)

Secondly although I think security center has advantages,
I can also see it's flaws. What happens if someone writes
some malicious code that disables security centers ability
to see if your antivir or firewall is down and keeps
displaying green lights although those apps have been
disabled?

No MS bashing inteded by the way.

I tried to explain what hitman pro does, but it is still dutch.
One great disadvantage about HMPro is that you cannot control it,
second: it loses fast its focus.

I have CCleaner and AdAware doing the works. And off course MSAS.

Yes, I guess it would have to be an extension of Windows Security
Development Team to become a part of Security Center.

Hi Holger,
That has been requested by others. At this time, I wouldn't support sticking
MWAS in the present state of being a Beta product into that Center. Perhaps
later...maybe.
