MAS messes up my applications

I have just installed MAS and ran it . It said I =had 6
viruses which it got rid of. However it also stopped most
applications from running saying something about not being
able to find the .exe files. Any help would be gratefully
received

John - one way to probably fix this is to get this article:

http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/[email protected]

and check out--about 3/4 or more through it for:
W32.Swen.A@mm has already been quarantined or deleted

Use the instructions there. I'm not sure the automated version of this will
work, because you didn't have Swen, but it is worth trying.
