I have an intel 975bx2 motherboard and tried installing Vista with a total of
4 drives plus a dvd/rw. I used the Intel Matrix controller for the boot drive
and for the optical drives. I then added three drives in a raid array (0)
using the (second) Marvell Raid Controller. I can see the drives by pressing
CTRL-M or using the Marvell Raid controller from within windows, but I simply
get a blue screen of death as soon as I've formatted the disks and created
the array.

I'm convinced that the installed drivers are defectiver, but I'll try other
solutions willingly. Right now I have 3 750GB drives which are useless to me.

Ross,

Go to www.driveragent.com and do the free scan of your computer to see what
drivers you need. Then go to the maker's site to download them.
